The IAEG Executive Committee recently voted to welcome other national IAEG groups, all Spanish-speaking and from Central and South America. Bolivia was first accepted and will be represented by the group at the Colegio de Geologos de Santa Cruz. Hence, Peru and Mexico were accepted. We welcome these new NGs with whom we look forward to working well for the next few years.
At the same time we want to thank our Vice President for South America, Jorge Bejerman, who was very active in recruiting new national groups !.
The IAEG Council will ratify these new members at the next meeting.
