SUMMARY:Residential Training Program on Engineering Geological Mapping
DESCRIPTION:Considering the significance of Surface Geological Mapping – the backbone of all investigations\, the DDAG envisages second comprehensive Residential Training Program on Engineering Geological Mapping (EGM) near Chamera Stage-I Dam in Himachal Pradesh from 18 to 24 June 2023 under supervision of Mr Yogendra Deva Former Director GSI (Vol. Retired) and my own self. \nThis is a unique capacity building initiative which is designed for training professional engineering geologists in field mapping and rock mass characterization through collection and analysis of litho-structural data. We assure that this program will add value to the quality of data collection and its application by team of geologists working in your organization. \nWe are pleased to enclose detailed brochure of the training program for your kind perusal. The participants can be nominated using the attached Nomination Form\, or online at www.dhawanacademy.com. \nThe program is limited to 30 participants only and the last date for nominations is 15 May 2023. Accordingly\, we request you to kindly nominate young geologists of your organization at the earliest.Download
